I love Routine!

It feels so good to be back to a regular routine, well almost regular. Once the kids are back in school tomorrow I can officially say that our routine is regular. The kids are playing outside in the snow, my husband built the kids a huge snow fort, well you could call it Fort Knox, lol. He doesn't know how to go small, I think secretly he does it for his own pleasure, reliving his childhood, hehe.

I have another card for you today using the same stamp set as the previous two, only this time I'm using a different image. I really like this set, it comes with an Easter sentiment too so it becomes even more versatile. You'll find it in our new Occasions mini on page 17 (link on the left hand side of my blog).

We are having such a beautiful day today, warm sunshine with a slight breeze, does it get any better?! Well, yes it does because I got a little more stamping in with some of the new stuff from the new catalogue. I'd be lying to you if I didn't say I love this card. Love how the new Cherry Cobbler looks combined with Crumb Cake (formerly known as Kraft) and black. I'm also so excited to finally have ink in the Kraft colour, oops, Crumb Cake. This stamp set is one of the new Hostess level 1 sets, isn't it gorgeous! And you want to know the best part? This set will be one of many door prizes at my grand Catalogue Kick off Party!!! Yup, you read that right. Anyone that attends my party on July 12th is entered to win this stamp set. I'm so excited I can hardly wait! But on to the card, lol. Bling Mania

My garden is loving the rain right now and I am loving the smell of rain. The kids have resorted to using all of our dining room chairs, the living room furniture, and their blankets to make a tent just in case the rain turns into a "bad storm". Now we'll wait and see how good they are at cleaning up once they're done, lol. I wish the lighting in the house had been better when I took this picture, it really doesn't show just how bright and fun this new Poppy Parade colour is! It's quickly becoming one of my favourites of the new In Colors. I stamped the image on watercolour pp and used my blender pens to colour the flower and leaves. Then I carefully cut out the flower so I could mount it on the circle. You can't see it in the picture but I sponged some Old Olive lightly on the Very Vanilla circle. The circle is mounted with dimensionals and the sentiment is slightly curled. To finish it off I added bling until I was happy, hehe. Diamonds are a girl's ...
