Christmas Tissue Box

Hi everyone! I am really looking forward to the next few days! The kids are home from school for the next few days, we're supposed to get some snow (yay!) and there's a local craft show in town this weekend that I did not join this year but look forward to checking out every one's great work! Oh and my Christmas tree is coming up this weekend, should be a great time!

This is one of the projects that we made at club last night. It's a covered tissue box, so neat. When the box is empty you just simply slide a new tissue box in.

We are having such a beautiful day today, warm sunshine with a slight breeze, does it get any better?! Well, yes it does because I got a little more stamping in with some of the new stuff from the new catalogue. I'd be lying to you if I didn't say I love this card. Love how the new Cherry Cobbler looks combined with Crumb Cake (formerly known as Kraft) and black. I'm also so excited to finally have ink in the Kraft colour, oops, Crumb Cake. This stamp set is one of the new Hostess level 1 sets, isn't it gorgeous! And you want to know the best part? This set will be one of many door prizes at my grand Catalogue Kick off Party!!! Bling Mania

My garden is loving the rain right now and I am loving the smell of rain. The kids have resorted to using all of our dining room chairs, the living room furniture, and their blankets to make a tent just in case the rain turns into a "bad storm". Now we'll wait and see how good they are at cleaning up once they're done, lol. I wish the lighting in the house had been better when I took this picture, it really doesn't show just how bright and fun this new Poppy Parade colour is! It's quickly becoming one of my favourites of the new In Colors. I stamped the image on watercolour pp and used my blender pens to colour the flower and leaves. Then I carefully cut out the flower so I could mount it on the circle. You can't see it in the picture but I sponged some Old Olive lightly on the Very Vanilla circle.
